Stitch Fix review #7

My seventh box. I have a problem. I love getting these boxes. I’ve been branching out into Trendsend and Trunk Club as well and love them for different reasons, but I think Stitch Fix still has the best non-sale prices.

With Stitch Fix you get five items to try on and your styling fee is credited towards any purchases you make. And their customer service has been pretty good.

When I peeked at my fix (you can do that by “checking out” in your account after your box has shipped) I honestly thought I was going to keep 4/5 things right off the bat. This was probably one of the best I’ve gotten that felt so personalized to me.

Stitch Fix review #7

I don’t think I had specifically requested anything in particular for this time, except that I didn’t want anymore shoes or capris. But honesly, my stylist did pretty freaking amazing this time around.

Romey Cold Shoulder Knit Top ($34)

I love the color of this one, and I love the fit, and it was super soft. The sleeves, which you can’t see here, are slitted, but I wasn’t feeling it. It was pretty baggy in the chest/armpit area. I definitely don’t have a ton of short sleeved tops, but this one just wasn’t working for me.

Madia Brushed Knit Dress ($40)

This one I actually really loved. I thought it fit well, and I loved how it looked from the back. And for the price, I would have gotten it. Olivia actually has the same pattern in a jumpsuit I got her from Stitch Fix kids, but I already had a few darker dresses, so that was my only hesitation.

But I was very close to keeping this one.

Verdict: Returned

Mia Back Detail Pullover ($44)

So I’m not sure why I was sent a sweater at the end of June, but I was told by my stylist that I could throw this one for a campfire. I don’t think I’ve ever in my life worn a sweater from May to September, but this was cute. But I don’t see myself putting this on for a hot humid July night sitting around a fire.

Besides the fact that I definitely won’t be wearing this any time soon (hello 90 degree weather!), I did like it. And with my $20 styling fee going towards it, it was only *technically* $24.

Verdict: Kept

Lizzy Brushed Knit Dress ($40)

I loved this dress. Oh, I wanted to keep it. Ugh. I wanted to so bad. And maybe I should have. It was colorful. I felt comfortable in it. The back showed a lot of my bra and it would work with a bralette, but I didn’t have one. (Side note: I actually ordered one.) But it was too little too late. Wah.

Verdict: Returned…boo

Adalia Knit Jumpsuit ($58)

I was so torn over this. I could easily live in this jumpsuit. It was that comfortable. And it was something I never would have even tried on in the store, because I never would have thought it would look good on me. And it had pockets!

But it was long in the legs. Like, several inches too long. And it was really flowy at the leg openings and I knew that would annoy me. I totally could have hemmed it, but since the last thing I got hemmed was my wedding gown, I had to weigh that in—the odds I would get my butt to an alteration store before 2023 was probably unlikely. So sadly…

Verdict: Returned

If you’ve never tried it, consider giving Stitch Fix a try. I think this is the first time I wanted to keep four of the five things in my fix. And it makes it worth it to try on the clothes in the comfort of your own home for a few days. You can signed up through this link which my referral link for a $25 credit. I’m sadly out of credits for the rest of the year, but maybe you could use one?

If you do end up getting a box, let me know how it’s going for you!

The best part is, once you are signed up you get your own referral link—which means you can start earning $25 credits for yourself as well!
