Olivia has been obsessed with PJ Masks, so she of course wanted to be Owlet for Halloween. She even got an Owlet bucket for candy.
On Monday, we went to a local pizza place that was sponsoring my MOPS group, and we ate pizza and mingled with the other kids and parents. They had tattoos and a “karaoke” station, which Olivia took full advantage of.
On Halloween evening, we went to my sister-in-law’s to do trick or treating with Olivia’s cousins. The weather was beautiful and Olivia had a blast running from house to house collecting way too much candy. This neighborhood was fun because most of them were participating and some were giving full-sized candy bars. She did so well saying thank you after, and only fell on her face once or twice. From then on, we told her she needed to walk since she gets extra clumsy in the darkness.
It was getting late, but we stopped by my parents after to show off her costume and open her bucket of Halloween gifts. She even got her own Owlet and Rip figures which she’s already obsessed over.
My mom gave her some Minnie Mouse PJs that she wore that night to bed. This kid is amazing. She’s the perfect little thing to help heal my heart.
