A serious case of writer’s block just in time for NIAW

School is DONE!  I am finally getting my BSN.  For those of you who don’t know, I graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2009.  Four loooong years later, I am getting my bachelor’s degree in nursing.  Chris is graduating at the end of May with his MBA.  Life is good.  School was so wearing on both of us and now I am finally enjoying my free time.  Have I blogged? Of course not.  I have been having a serious case of writer’s block lately, and besides that, I have been trying to take a break from infertility.  Meaning, I don’t want to even write about it.  I have been commenting when I can, and still enjoy reading blogs, but it has been nice, just being normal.  No drugs, no doctor’s appointments.  I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I have a few more weeks until we meet with the doctor and life will start to get crazy again.

National Infertility Awareness Week is coming up, y’all.  In light of this, I have decided to write a different post every day from April 21-27 of what it truly means to be infertile.  (As if I don’t do that enough already).  This year’s theme is “Join the Movement.”

A serious case of writer's block just in time for NIAW

The goal of this year’s theme is to bring together bloggers and talk about how we are making a difference in the lives of people who are experiencing infertility.  I will be submitting my “Join the Movement” post to the Resolve website to be voted on for the Hope Award for Best Blog.  The Hope Awards are presented at the Night of Hope Gala in New York.  So writer’s block be damned.  I hope I can be inspired when the time comes.  A girl can dream, right?  Right?

I have had THE WORST writer's block for almost a month now. ARRRGH! I hope both of us all of a sudden are zapped with…well, whatever the opposite of writer's block is. I have been trying to think about what I can write for the Join the Movement thing, but as of right now, I got nothin.

Woo-Hoo!!!!! Congrats on finishing your degree, to both you and your hubby! I'm sure it feels pretty dang good to be done. I hadn't even thought about doing a post. Maybe I should spend some time doing that… I haven't felt like I had anything to write about either. Good luck! I can't wait to read what you come up with!

It is hard. It's vague. I haven't decided if what I actually write will be submitted. :

Congratulations on finishing your degree! I'm also on a medication break (sweet relief!), but with NIAW, the anniversary of my loss, and Mothers Day coming up, I'll be talking a LOT about infertility over the next week. I look forward to reading your posts this week.
