9. What was the first baby or pregnancy-related purchase you ever made? Was it before or after you started trying to conceive? Why did you choose that particular item to buy first? If you haven’t purchased anything yet, why not?
In the past three and a half years, I have not bought one baby thing. I’m not sure why. I know Chris’s Great Aunt Dorothy started making a baby quilt for us before she passed away. My MIL has it and we get it when our baby comes. I can’t wait to tell our child that story.
That being said, I bought something. After our u/s appointment this past weekend I was Christmas shopping with the husband and I bought a newborn fleece sleeper. It is my little fertility talisman, my reminder to never give up, that I have to get pregnant because HELLO! I have baby clothes.
I chose this particular item because it reminds me of fresh clean baby sleeping on me in the evening after a bath.
