My lack of a baby nursery

This post is part of the 30 Day Infertility Blogging Challenge. I thought this might be a great way for me to focus on my infertility, but also to show myself in a different light. You can read the whole series by clicking here.

My lack of a baby nursery

Whew.  Four more posts to go after this.  What are people going to do when they don’t have an overly personal blog post to read every day?  Well, you’re in luck because I still plan on talking about my lady business several times a week when this challenge is over!

26.  What do you use the “nursery” for right now?

I kind of touched on this in a previous post.  We have two rooms upstairs in addition to our bedroom.  One is pretty good-sized.  The other would make a quaint little nursery.  Both are storage.  The bigger one has dog toys, my purses, a futon, and other random things.  The closet has extra clothes.  The smaller room has a bookshelf with all my books, a mushroom chair, and the random things I throw in there when company comes over.  No one better go peek in there now next time they come over.

I think the smaller one will end up being the nursery.  It’s already painted a baby green color and has a huge closet.  But if Chris and I are blessed with Double Trouble, we would use the bigger room, as it could fit two cribs in there no problem.  See, I am thinking positive thoughts already!

We just bought our house about 4 months ago. We have three bedrooms…one is ours, one is my husband's "mancave" and the other one has been sitting empty since we moved in. There are a few things in the closet but otherwise its as barren as my uterus, LOL Our entire house was repainted before we bought it by the bank except this one room has a bright blue wall so we thought it was a sign it should be the nursery some day.

I am totally going to go digging through your spare bedrooms next time I come over.

Also, you better keep blogging after the challenge, this is exciting stuff.

Oh it's totally a sign that that room should be a nursery someday!
