Here’s what 101 in 1001 is all about, taken from Day Zero Project’s site:
Day Zero started out with the catchy challenge of completing 101 things in 1001 days. This has been enormously popular with tens of thousands of people getting involved and sharing their lists. We now offer many more types of challenges, but here are the original guidelines for the challenge:
The Challenge: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part). Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic.
1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

1001 days is about 2.75 years and is a happy medium between a to-do list and a bucket list. If you decide to do your own, let me know so I can follow along with your updates!

Here we go!
What a great list! I’ve been toying with the idea of doing some sort of list for myself so I have goals I can tick off. 50 books seems like loads by the way. These days it takes me months to just finish one book! ” Learn the dance to Footloose” is the best item- haha! Will you post the video after? 😉 Playing in the rain with Olivia is sweet.

You totally should do this. I used to set a goal of 50 books in a year but I thought that was too lofty right now. And ha! We’ll see about that Footloose video. 😉
I (and I think my husband) are doing this! I’m linking to this post in my blog – hope that’s okay? Thanks for sharing and loved reading your goals.

That’s awesome! Can’t wait to see your list. That’s totally ok!
Ok I’m seriously impressed. With a high needs toddler and an infant I believe my goals go something like: survive. I should have goals though. I certainly can’t do this many but you’ve inspired me to pick a few!

Good for you!!! Definitely do some!
Oooh, I love this list, and I want to do one of my own now. I’ll have to start thinking about it. I love love love #4!

Ha ha! My doula was the one that told me about number 4. She said she’s been doing it and it’s funny (sad?) how many times she ends up getting knocked into because they don’t move out of the way. That they expect her to and I laughed and I told her I needed to try this.
